
Last week, the PhD student Tomáš Strečanský attended the 19th annual RANK conference (Routine Analysis of Nucleic Acids) in Pardubice (March 19-20, 2025), where he presented his work focused on MinION as a method for rapid pathogen identification and antimicrobial resistance detection based on nanopore sequencing. For this work, he won the award for the best oral presentation by young authors under 35, as well as the Dalibor Novotný Award for the best work by young authors under 35.
