PhD student Tomáš Strečanský took part in two important scientific events in Geneva. The first was the Cell Press LabLinks meeting ‘Antimicrobial resistance: from mechanisms to global implications‘. The second was the 8th International Conference on Clinical Metagenomics, where he presented a poster with the results of his diploma thesis, which he developed in our Institute – Isolation and detection of bacteria from the whole blood by selective centrifugation and nanopore sequencing.
