We congratulate our PhD student Monika Janíková and Dr. Ľubica Janovičová on new publication with host laboratory during their internship at Harvard Medical School. They showed that heme accumulation after anticancer therapy enhances DNA damage, abnormal intestinal epithelial cell proliferation, and inflammation as a potential etiology of gastrointestinal syndrome. We are very happy about this continuing active cooperation.
