Thanks to the excellent long-term clinical cooperation with the professor and Head of II. Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University and University Hospital in Bratislava-Ružinov, Jozef Záhumenský and several of our colleagues published an article showing that SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination against COVID-19 have no adverse effect on placental redox homeostasis or the concentration of extracellular DNA in umbilical cord plasma.
