In connection with the SARS-Cov-2 infection pandemic, an exceptional conference ”COVID-19 Looking Back” was held at the Faculty of Medicine Comenius University on 23-24th June 2023 with the aim of exchanging knowledge, experience and research orientation for the future. It also included presentations of our knowledge, thanks to doctor Michal Pastorek (Extracellular mitochondria contribute to neutrophil extracellular traps formation during SARS-CoV-2 infection) and PhD student Monika Janíková (Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in the saliva samples using loop-mediated isothermal amplification).
