Article about dynamics of urinary DNA in urosepsis

We congratulate several of our colleagues to publishing their article titled Dynamics of Urinary Extracellular DNA in Urosepsis. Thanks to clinical cooperation with prof. Ján Breza showed that hospitalized patients with urosepsis had significantly reduced ecDNA in urine, which was positively correlated with c-reactive protein (CRP) and procalcitonin. They observed similar results in an animal model, suggesting that urinary ecDNA is a potential non-invasive marker for monitoring treatment effects during urosepsis and is related to progression in an experimental animal model.
